Would Not RecommendPoor Design. When it spins and tries to cut grass. The holes in which to cool the motor down. Grass gets caught up in it. Wraps around the spindle inside. Melted the spindle right off. The hard plastic over heats.
Very good lightweight choice.
I am used to gas powered models so this was a big switch, and you can't really compare the two. For my first battery electric model that I have ever used, it has performed wonderfully so far. The feed works very well, and it cuts very good for a small .065 single line. It's nice and light weight for easy handling. Would RecommendI did not open the box so I can't comment on the product, Craftsman Straight Shaft. I was disappointed that the box looked previously opened and dented in multiple places.

Would Not RecommendPurchased June 2025 is by one and get one free never was able to use the head trimmers the battery to replace is went to the Lowes local - he said I am sorry nothing we can do... so the battery that charges the weed eater and hedge trimmers stopped working four months after we purchased it. Bad batter and wrong charger
Would Not RecommendI opened the box up Yesterday. Got a bad battery. Have the wrong charger that came in the box. I have the charger plugged in. There should be a light coming saying it’s charging. It doesn’t. Plus I hold down the botton to tell me. Also what the picture shows what type of charger I get. I don’t get the right charger.
