Outstanding Saw!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautifully made and very efficient. I use this saw constantly for job site use at our fire academy to build training props as well as at home to cut plywood for furniture builds. Has never failed me. I use a 6ah battery which powers it plenty. It doesn’t bog down and has a ton of power. Highly recommended for professional use and diy at home projects. Cannot say enough good about it especially after some less than stellar experiences I have ha...

Cut the cord!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This saw is more powerful than I expected because it's so light. Now I can cut the cord with my old circular saw.

Turning doubters to believers
Would RecommendThis skill saw has been tested on many projects. It works great and I love it! Many people doubt its power until they try it.

Wish blade was on opposite side
Would RecommendI originally had the 6-1/2" V20 saw but decided to upgrade to the 7-1/4" version. The 7-1/4" is definitely more powerful than the 6-1/2" version. The one thing I dislike compared to the smaller saw is that the blade is on the right, instead of on the left. For a right-handed person having the blade on the left makes it much easier to line up and watch where you're cutting.

Does not work after installing the blade.
Would Not RecommendAfter installing the blade it does not work, click, click. The blade is not turning. If I loosen the screw a little the motor runs but not the blade. I bought this to replace a corded Harbor Freight Saw. Customer Support had me return it to Lowes. I am Sad!
who is writting these reviews?
Would Not Recommendabsolute garbage. bought at Lowes thinking it would be good boy was I wrong. I play around with building stands, tables, shelves, and more out of wood. The most it gets used is about 2 projects a month. I would compare it to a 1960s saw. tried cutting through cheap 2x4 stud and it took longer than hand saw and left burn marks on wood. replaced blades thinking dull blades but its just a garbage saw. at best 1 x 1 wood is okay for this saw I wouldn't cut anything long or thick.

Lowe: Good. Saw: decent Craftsman: dumb.
Would RecommendSaw is good - not pro quality, but i knew that going in. Biggest problem is the 'owners manual'. It is literally 6 pages of warning's/ cautions. Most about proper recharging batteries. The section about how to install a blade (so the saw can actually be USED) was 10 lines of mice type. Craftsman DOES NOT tell you that there is a inner blade washer and outer blade washer. They explain to make sure they are installed "properly ". If you put both washers on the outside of the blade, YOUR SAW WILL...

So what exactly is the difference between the RP 7 1/4 circular saw and the other 7 1/4 brushless 20v circular saw made by Craftsman? I own both and could not tell a difference what so ever. Is it a marketing ploy?
