bad quality tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this was a great tool untill the trigger gave out now it is crap. can get it fixed and don't want to buy a new one had it less then a full year. really not good quality if you as me. get out of warranty and it goes bad, really .

The best impact on the market!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best impact I have ever owned! I’ve had it for over 5 years now, and it has survived falling off a roof (oops). The high setting can drive large lag screws like they’re going through butter. I usually only need low though because high is overkill most of the time.

A must have

This is a great buy puts anything in and gets the job done.

Assembled in the USA version is the best

Simply compare the specs of the RP (Chinese) version. I've had both and the performance, the USA model quality is felt and seen. I feel Craftsman should release an entire "USA" line. I like the name "Craftsman Elite" for the line. Move the RP line to second best. Everyone has brushless now, Craftsman should do them all one better.

Have been in the market for this type of drill, great product, couldn’t be happier with purchase.

quality tool

I bought a craftsman tool kit a few years ago. I’ve but my original impact through the ringer. So I decided to get a new one. I originally bought the “brushless RP” model but it literally died first trigger press AND started smoking. So I immediately returned it for this one. Brushless, assembled in America, and handled fencing/decking since the day it was purchased. Also has noticeably more torque than the original, non brushless model.
