Competent drill, love the 1/2 inch chuck

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent drill on par with all the premium brands you are thinking of. Most of those are a 3/8" chuck so this will take the larger 1/2' bits that come in the big bit sets. Not crazy about the 1.5 amp/hr batteries. They don't last long on the job and even with two you won't get through the day without recharging. Fortunately larger batteries are sold separately and Craftsman is a brand you can commit to for other battery tools so ...

Reliable!!!

Decent battery life but an extra one will help

Even though the battery is on the smaller size, the battery last most of the day on my garage project I was working on. I recently order a backup battery so I wouldn’t have to wait for it to charge. I’m good to go now.

Great drill, perfect for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been really happy with this CRAFTSMAN V20 drill so far. It’s got plenty of power for all my home projects, and it feels solid without being too heavy. The grip is comfortable, and I like how easy it is to control the speed with the trigger. I’ve used it for everything from hanging shelves to drilling into 2x4s, and it hasn’t let me down yet. The LED light is a nice touch too when working in darker spots. Overall, it’s a great drill/driver...

You asked about a 20v drill you sent me. I received an 18v drill which is what I order. Hope you did not charge me for a 20v. The product you sent me is perfect to match my needs for my use.

Broke

Got this after reading the reviews. Figured Craftsman had made improvements over the years. I was wrong. The high speed went out after only three months.
