Would RecommendJust add vegetable oil to the blades for every 4 branches cut. It works like magic and cuts all thick branches smoothly. Went up to 4 inches. Am going to try upto 6". Keep adding oil to the blades and it cuts smoothly.

He used it to cut off excess tree trunk which was 6 inches across, also for the excess branches at the bottom. He said it was a very good saw.
