The flashlight was a disappointment. The ability to widen or narrow the beam only goes to a certain marginal diameter. Wanted a beam that adjusts to a narrow beam not just an average diameter.

Great light
Would RecommendI got this light as an EMS week gift from my ambulance service. It has worked great for me, it is way for me to carry this into a dark room than the 4 cell mag lights in my ambulance. My only complaint is I keep loosing clips. In the 3 years I've had it, I must have lost a dozen pocket clips.

Can't Replace Batteries
Would Not RecommendI bought SEVERAL Coast lights to have in my hurricane kit. Liked the G32, but batteries died and I can not replace it. Absolute nightmare trying to get the battery compartment open. Had to use two sets of channel lock pliers and leather gloves not to damage the housing. Batteries will not come out - no way to remove them.

Compact and ready
Would RecommendI work in a plastics factory and need concentrated light beam for the work I do. I have gone through many light brands. None could stand up to the task. Dealing with wet conditions constantly dropping the flashlight, and extreme heat. The G32 can stand up to the task.
