No manual- very cheap for a high end appliance!

I am tremendously disappointed that you don’t even offer a user manual with the product. I have to specifically request one. That is the height of cheapness. This is supposed to be a high-end appliance. How am I supposed to know how to get the best use out of it without a user manual? Also, There is an artifact on the front glass that is extremely noticeable. This is the second microwave that I’ve gotten that has this problem. CAFÉ™ 2.1 Cu. Ft. Smart Over-the-Range Microwave

It is a good choice if you already own other Café Modern Glass appliances. The Scan-to-Cook and Chef Connect are cited as really useful, at least for me, its glass exterior and steam-clean enamel interior make it easier to clean.

Good Microwave, Good Value

Great performance.. It's a little larger than we expected, but fits our space. Our only issue is that the time doesn't appear consistently on the front of the microwave. Strange!

Very loud and large but small inside. Control panel buttons don’t aren’t sensitive to touch and don’t work at times

Needs redesign

Love the clean look. However , to use ANY microwave feature, need to open door to "light-up" any options on door. Only time is displayed when door is closed. Not helpful.

Looks great but could be designed better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all this microwave is beautiful. Two issues with it though. First the exhaust fan has 4 speeds but they are all so loud (even on low) you can’t hardly stand close to it. Secondly you have to open the door to get the control panel to light up. It should light up when you touch it.

Was it worth it?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had to call for repair the day of installation because several key connections weren’t properly put together. Microwave randomly stopped, would flash on and off rapidly, and couldn’t keep proper time. Thankfully was a quick fix but made my wife and I question whether buying a higher end appliance was really worth it. Love the look. Time will tell regarding longevity and value for the higher price cafe’ platinum glass.

Handsome feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this most beautiful microwave got in my brand new home and kitchen I love the steam clean, great!! I run it twice which helps soften any hard debris left, just past a soft wipe and voile!! Fantastic would recommend!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

MICROWAVE DOOR CAME APART!!!!!

We bought this series, fridge, microwave, stove and dishwasher, almost 5 years ago and have had nothing but problems with all 4, the microwave door came apart last night. can a door replacement be sent??? We have had to replace the pump on the dishwasher, the ice maker and drawer slides for the fridge, the burners on the stove flame uneven and now the door on the microwave came apart last night. thought we were buying quality since GE has been in business for over 125 years. This is ridiculo...

Sleek looking microwave

The microwave is aesthetically pleasing and performs well. The vent is powerful enough for our gas range BTU outputs. We changed all four appliances to same platinum glass and it works well in our kitchen. Only drawback in this microwave is to 'activate' the buttons when microwave is off to say start the vent. Opening and closing the door activates the button. Touching the pad is still a learning curve on where to touch to activate the lighted buttons. Overall good microwave.

Easy

The microwave has so many assorted settings that I haven’t had time to try them all yet. The settings are so easy even my 6 year old can use it.

Awesome microwave!

We absolutely love this microwave how it works and how the keypad you can't see when it's not lit up. Very well made and my frist Cafe Appliance. I checked into microwaves and this one received number 1 or 2 on all websites. You won't be disappointed.

Totally Worth It!

Installation was perfect. The microwave looks fabulous. I love the sweetness of the exterior and that the controls are not always visible, but easily pulled up. Love that I can connect it to my stove and have the lights and fans turn on automatically when I turn on a burner. By the way, they turn off automatically after a while not sure how long. Totally worth it!
