[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The carafe is too fragile. My husband broke it the third time he used the coffee maker. I have been unable to connect with anyone to reorder a new carafe. I also was unable to find a replacement for it on the website.

Not a great reflection of Cafe brand

We love the look of the appliance! We have been hand washing it since the beginning because we constantly drink coffee. We don’t have time to run through the dishwasher. The handle has been slowly flaky off and every time I try and replace it, it’s unavailable. At this point I’m getting very frustrated. I have the espresso maker which is working great! I love my refrigerator and my oven. But I’m disappointed in the quality of my coffee maker. Now the clock is started to go as well.

Love this!

This is my 2nd purchase. I bought the first product in stainless steel 9 years ago and it was still making great coffee and working fine. I moved and wanted the white one purely for aesthetic reasons. I love being able to start my coffee while still in bed with the app and having my coffee first thing. Easy to set up, adjust temperature and keeps the coffee warm for 2 hours.

Warming plate turns off and I can’t control that.

How do I extend the warming plate? This is the most expensive coffee maker I’ve had. It sells itself short.

Beautiful

We love the ease of operation, the physical appearance of the appliance as it goes with our whole kitchen of GE Cafe appliances. The coffee tastes exactly as expected. We are very happy with this purchase.

Coffee maker would not brew.

Until today, this coffee maker worked great - today it would not brew.

Low quality, cheap plastic and very delicate.

Really disappointed. I wanted everything to match (large and small appliances) and when my previous coffeemaker stopped working I bought this one. It is so high maintenance and I regret buying it. You can’t put the carafe in the dishwasher, it is really cheap materials (the glass on the carafe is thinner than any machine I’ve ever used) and shows every ground and drop of coffee. I have to hand wash almost the entire machine daily otherwise it begins to stain. I’m also disappointed with the capac...

A little surprised

Really surprised that the water reservoir does not remove for easier filling and cleaning. The top for the coffee grinds only opens up, so this coffee maker really needs a large clearance area above it to function. Would prefer it be operable underneath our cabinets (without having to bring it forward to fill the water and add coffee grinds. It does keep the coffee pot nice and hot. Also not as friendly for single cup brewing as my Ninga coffee machine.

Great addition to the kitchen

This coffee maker is perfect for our family. The stainless steel matches with the other appliances & the coffee brewing is quick. Having the coffee stay warm up to 2hrs is a bonus!

The perfect coffee maker

We have the café refrigerator and decided to purchase the Cafe coffee maker. Both of these products are exceptional. The Cafe Coffee coffee maker brews coffee perfectly every time… I get many compliments on the look of it and it’s very easy to clean. The copper accent on the handle is a nice classy look in the kitchen.

Not reliable

We bought this coffee maker in early 2024 and have issues almost the entire time we have had it. It started when the machine prompted us to descale, which we did. The descale sign never went away and has flashed for 2 years straight. Then the button went out and would not allow us to smoothly scroll to change time, cups, strength, etc. It would bounce around: for example, trying to set the time from 7AM to 4:30AM, the hours would go from 7 to 9 to 2 to 5 and eventually land on 4. Then two days...

Pretty, but probably won’t buy again…

It’s pretty…BUT it’s almost entirely cheap plastic. It requires so much cleaning otherwise the white will stain. When it inevitably breaks, I will not buy again.

Ugh!

Just switched to "bold setting" to see if the taste is better. Have been using moderate. I had to call to find out how to turn the pot off. The water reservoir does not always fully empty after brewing. Overall it looks a lot better than it delivers. Would not purchase again. Do not want to go thru a return process.

Poor Brew

So far a bit disappointed with the brewing. I like strong coffee and have set it to strong and raised the temperature but it still does not brew to the strength that comes close to the Mr. Coffee we use from time to time or the Kitchenaide. The opening of the carafe is also a bit small and difficult to get your hand and sponge in to clean it properly. Other than that it is sleek and looks great on the counter. But if we can’t get stringer brew, we may just have to return it or chnage it out.

I purchased the stainless steel Cafe speciality drip coffee maker and have been pleased with it. It compliments my Cafe appliances and looks good on the counter.

not worth the money

I have had 2 of this coffee maker in less than 2 years. 1st one quit brewing within 6 months. It was still under warranty so it was replaced. 2nd one quit brewing in less than a year. Couldn't get GE to service it. I do not recommend this coffee maker!

Beautiful and Delicious

I love this coffee pot! It has four different brew strengths and holds 20 cups of coffee! I love how put together my kitchen feels with the matching big and little appliances!
