I bought this printer in August 2025. I am happy with the wireless connectivity, scanning and printing. However, the life of the printer cartridge is a great disappointment. On-line support tells me that it is not possible to check how many copies were printed. I may have printed about 200 pages overall. Brother advertises 600-800 copies. This falls far short as I am now receiving low toner messages.

New Printer
I wanted a simple B & W high volume printer with an easy ink cartridge replacement. I got that in this Brother lase printer. It prints fast, it prints two sided and i hope to have it for many years. I purchased it about three weeks ago and so far I am very satisfied.

HL-L2480DW Very Difficult Wireless Setup
Extremely difficult to setup up wireless with my iMac running Tahoe 26.3.1. Your app was of no value and customer technical services could not figure it out. Consequently it took me more than an hour to figure it out with the help of AI.

Great Printer!
We replaced a color printer which was much slower than the 2480DW. We decided that we rarely had a need for anything but black white. The Brother has exceeded our expectations and prints quickly and clearly!

Just What We Were Looking For
Purchased Brother monochrome laser printer - all we need and nothing we don't - copy quality and speed remind me of much bigger office copiers I used at work - more expensive than dot matrix home printer but well worth it.

Solid, reliable, works well.
Had it for a few months, works well, clear sharp text. Big improvement over ink-jet, especially for occasional use, no concerns with ink drying up and not printing. Only complaint is inability to TURN OFF the long loud beep whenever I send a print job to the printer.
