Would RecommendI purchased the Brinks Commercial Door Exit Device for my shop, and it does not disappoint. The matte black has a very nice quality look to it. Overall, this device was easy to install if you read the instructions carefully. It comes with templates for installation which make it very easy to line up. Would RecommendThis is a nice exit bar for a secondary/emergency exit door. The finish is a matte aluminum with the slightest amount of texture. It comes with a deadbolt and an exterior finger pull. It doesn't include an exterior handle, so you need a key or to have the bar dogged to enter from the outside. Installed it but took it back off.
Would RecommendWe installed this on our lower level egress door that was recently replaced. The instructions were confusing, to say the least, but we were able to figure it out. We used it for a while but we couldn't keep it since there is no exterior handle so we had to remove it. I would recommend it for someone who does not need a handle on the other side. We will keep it in stock until a better application comes along.
