Would RecommendDormant oil for fruit trees and other trees that attract bugs. I live next to the forest, I get bugs trying to eat my trees. Lowes had it in stock, brought it home mixed it up in my little one gallon tank sprayer. No bugs. Nice.

I use this product (dormant oil) on my fruit trees in the winter time to reduce coddling moth damage during the summer and fall. The oil suffocates the pupae that overwinter in the crevices of the bark. During the growing season, when the fruit is bigger than a marble, I use Pyrethrin to kill the larvae and the adults. I spray the Pyrethrin every few weeks but only spray the dormant oil once around mid-January.
