Good wood filler, but strong smell

The package arrived with 2 packets, good for 2 different wood-filling sessions. I used 1 packet to help fill the spaces in between my wooden floorboards. There was quite a bit of wood filler for one packet, but the smell is STRONG. Be sure to do this in a well ventilated area and while using gloves. I will like to see over time if this product holds up. As I just started using it will take time to see how good it is.

Bondo wood filler

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got some as a free sample to try. I mixed some up and put it on some rotten end boards. It has a tan color. Hardened and was well adhered. I just need to sand and then paint. Looks like wood and should take care of the boards.

Dries solid, sands well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this Bondo wood filler product. The ready mix pre-measured pouches made it so easy to use! Be forewarned, the product hardens very quickly, but It also dries solid and sands well, which is so important when refinishing furniture. I will definitely purchase the pouches again when I have smaller jobs. I received a sample of this product in exchange for my honest opinion.

Works great, smells awful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pouch made it extremely easy to fill the gouges in my antique treadle sewing machine table. It dried pretty quickly (the humidity in my area is very low at this time of year, so I'm not sure if that would make a difference) and it was simple to use/sand/paint. I couldn't get over the smell though. It was quite strong, but maybe it's just my nose because it didn't bother my husband like it did me.

Perfect Solution For a Quick Repairs

The ready mix pouch was easy to prepare with no measuring. The spreader was helpful to evenly spread the mixture. The end product looks great! I will be purchasing more for those chipped areas.

Finishing it up a older but goody

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used it to repair an older wooden shelf unit. It had some nick and dents that need to be filled to make it look better and brighter. It was easy to us and work with on the surface of the shelf. I was quick.

As advertised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this bondo to repair my dresser. It had pin holes on the surface that always drove me crazy. I used the bondo to fill the roughly 7 holes in the top of the dresser. Everything mixed simply and filled the holes perfectly. Let it harden and then sanded it down. Light stain and you would have no idea that there were ever holes in the surface. Would highly recommend!

I Didn’t Know I Needed This!

I mixed the filler according to the directions and applied it to the chewed area. I used a popsicle stick to shape the filler to match the trim. It was easy to apply and easy to form. Not the best application to test this product

I'm not sure it is was the best application to test this product. I had a trim of wood that my dog chewed off the corner. I tried to "add" the corner back. The product dried very quickly and it was hard to work with. It dried to a light tan finish. I tried to stain it but it did not take the stain too well. I think this product mig...

Easy to use

I had to mix and use the product quickly as it dries really fast, which can be good. I love that this wood filler can be sanded down and painted over. It was able to fill the gaps We’re needed and be flush with the rest of the wood. I was able to paint over my sign and you can’t even tell where the hole was.

Super easy to use

Smaller package avoids waste

Very good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve been updating our home so I was excited to try this 3M bondo. Mixing it was very easy and fast. It comes with a spreader so all you need is included. It is very easy to apply. We used it to seal cracks around our windows and I had a door frame that needed sealed. It worked great!

Guess-free, easy (but smelly) wood filler!

The instructions are short and easy to read, but the packets are a bit tough to rip open all the way. I wasn't able to rip them open completely, but was able to squeeze out the putty and hardener.
