What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this lantern as an indispensable emergency preparedness tool. Most highlight the exceptionally bright LED with three adjustable settings—low, high, and strobe—as far superior to standard flashlights. The integrated battery storage for 40-42 AA and AAA batteries is the most celebrated feature, eliminating drawer clutter and enabling quick access. Reviewers consistently praise the built-in battery tester for determining battery health before use or disposal. Complementary features like the included screwdriver and carry handle enhance usability for emergencies, camping, and vehicles. A few note the lantern becomes heavier when fully loaded, though this rarely diminishes satisfaction. Overall, customers consider it a game-changing multifunctional tool.

A Bright Idea for Battery Organization and Emergen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of those products you don’t realize you need until you actually have it. The light is extremely bright and has come in handy more times than I can count. It is sturdy and feels durable enough for outdoor activities. The built-in battery storage is a clever addition, making it perfect for everything from power outages to camping trips, where both light and extra batteries are a must. This can be exactly what you need in potentially s...

Cool concept
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really cool concept, it’s just a little bulky, but I get why it’s bulky it needs to store quite a few batteries. The light is very bright and I think this item would be great to use camping or maybe when the power goes out it could be useful!

Battery Daddy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Battery Daddy was a handy product I didn’t know I needed. It’s features include three different light settings, battery storage, a screwdriver and my favorite part, a battery tester. Having a battery tester was incredibly handy. Although the lantern had 3 light settings, it could have been a little brighter but would be handy to keep in a car or take camping.

Handy gadget
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lantern illuminates well and the nice surprise was that it came with batteries already in place for it to work. When you load in the batteries for the purpose of storage, there are pros and cons. Pro - all the batteries are in one place and I don’t have them sitting around in loose packages. Con- the lantern becomes heavier. Also, the red slider is a little flimsy and has to be exactly placed to lock the panel. Other than that, I thin...

Very convenient lantern
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very convenient lantern and very different from others. I like how it has a storage for batteries, that can be very helpful when changing the batteries. Also, the handle on it makes it so easy to carry around and it's not heavy either. The best of this is that it comes with a battery tester. This lantern has a lot of great features. It's perfect for power outages or emergencies.

Great in case of emergency lantern
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This battery daddy Lantern is very helpful to have in case of an emergency if the power goes out or just because it's nice that it holds all of the batteries in case you need them in one place, the light works well very easy to use.

The light is so bright
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is what you need when the lights go out. You can store batters in the light itself, so no searching when you are already in the dark. The light is super bright. I'm glad I chose this. Who knows when I will need it

I like the concept
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the concept of this where it stores batteries, a lamp/flashlight, has a portable screwdriver, and battery tester. I do wish there was more storage available because it doesn’t feel like it fits very many batteries. What brings the rating down is the durability of this. It’s not very durable and breaks easily, especially the red slider to open the case.

Emergency help!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a lantern this had a bright light. And the fact that it had a way to store and check batteries was a plus. Definitely will be useful in case of an emergency.

A must have in any house or camp…
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For someone who camps in the summer, this product is a must have. Not only does it throw off incredible brightness & is easy to carry, but it keeps all your necessary back up batteries in case of emergency. It holds various sizes of batteries and is easy to keep them safe. They even hold the small batteries for my medical devices. I’m so happy to review this—it truly is a camping (and power outage!) savior!

Very convenient storage and light.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are a lot of pros about this battery lantern. I love how it has different settings, from bright to light to flashing. I personally do not see using the flashing option. The storage area is decent size and you can store multiple size batteries. Another major plus is, you can also check to see if the battery still has juice and how much, or if it needs to be replaced. The cons are, the clips to hold the doors closed do not latch tight enoug...

Durable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product—easily stores batteries of multiple sizes. The storage capacity is large and it’s very versatile. The brightness of the light is also a plus. It’s very easy to store in the closet and I know this will last me a very long time. Very happy with this!

Useful for power outage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didnt even bother to open this from the box for awhile but we had an unexpected power outage and this became very useful. First when I opened it I was a bit disappointed as it was built kind of cheap. It already came with 3 batteries but I had to replace them with new batteries as they were already leaked and rusty and didnt work. The battery storage seems great idea but I think it would make this too heavy but maybe good to just use it in ...

Love this
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really surprised at how much I liked this device. It was brighter than I expected. I wish it had a larger battery quantity capacity, but the best feature I think is the built in battery power checker.
