Ratings & Reviews for Backyard Discovery Barrington 12-ft x 12-ft Hardtop Roof Steel Gazebo

Very good instructions and very pretty

Seems very sturdy, me and hubby put it together by ourselves and yes we lifted the roof panels by ourselves. It can be done if you are in decent shape. Instructions are tedious but very easy to follow and the hardware is marked very well. It takes a bit of time, but it is well worth the end results.

Love this item - We enjoy it every night!

I am so glad that we chose this one. It has completely transformed our backyard and patio and has immediately became our favorite way to enjoy our backyard. The installation went smoothly and the product has help up well through some heavy storms.

100% recommend

Super easy follow along instructions, zoom in and flip over pieces to see bolt positions, all of which were my favorire features!

Barrington Gazebo

I bought this gazebo early this year. Our carpenters put it together this summer which was a challenge for them. Not an easy task. If you could afford it the pay to have it installed. We love it. And it does provide the right amount of shade over our picnic table. This gazebo also is very attractive on our patio.

Great product

The pros… this thing is solid and sturdy. All the components are well made. They give you more hardware than you could ever need. The instructions are fairly easy to follow, just a few spots where you really need to think about what they are trying to tell you. Everything is predrilled and assembles easy. The cons… this gets delivered from the manufacturer via freight. While Lowes will tell you it arrives in a week, it can take 6-8 weeks to arrive. It comes in six very very heavy boxes. You’ll...

Barrington

I was very pleased with the product. The Barrington 14 x 10 gazebo was well designed and the instructions were clear for the most part. This is my second gazebo and the quality was excellent on both. Thanks, Wheeler

So glad we got this!

This is an awesome edition to our deck. Its so nice to have something permanent now. I don't have to get up on a ladder anymore to have protection from the sun. Can wait to put up lights and a fan! Well worth the money spent. It did take a few days to assemble, but it was well worth it. I definitely recommend this to anyone who needs protection from the sun. If your thinking about getting it, just do it. You'll be happy you did!

Happy

Toke some time to build but Sturdy and beautiful..

Love my gazebo

We received the gazebo in good. Shape. After reviewing all the parts we new wee were over our ability's.e did hire someone to assemble the gazebo at a significant cost. After finally getting it assembled and set security all was good. We do love the gazebo very much.

Great gazebo, hidden fees

Love the gazebo. It’s functional sturdy, well built and we like the look of it. Hi Our issue was the communication between Sam’s, Backyard Discovery and the installer. It was not disclosed to us that the anchoring of the gazebo was an additional charge on top of the installation fee.

Love the Gazebo, but installation can be challenge

Love our new gazebo - however we had experienced workman put much of it together and install . My husband put parts together and it still took multiple hours over a three day period to construct and adhere properly to brick patio. The roof is very heavy and needed 3 men to lift , hold in place and attach. Looks terrific in our yard and hopefully will last for years .

Outside living without bugs

Purchased in the spring, this has been a very important part of our summer fun.

Alot of pieces. Sturdy

Fabulous! Very sturdy. Word of advice: You need someone who has the correct tools and skill to assemble it. There are a-lot, a-lot of a-lot of pieces.

Great gazebo!

I bought this 2 months ago and very happy with it. Hired someone to put it together. Took 2 people about 9 hours. Not one issue so far. Looks great. perfect size.

Review

We are very happy with the gazebo. It is a pgood addition to our rear yard. Only concern is the quality of the roofing system. It should be of better quality & design. Other than that, great purchase!

Nice gazebo

I love this gazebo. It’s very sturdy and I’m hoping it weathers well over time. It’s a very nice looking product. It is a lot of work to put together.

Great Gazebo

Very pleased with my gazebo, I only wish I would have bought the 16' instead. Highly suggest paying for installation, it's done in a day! Love it!

We love our gazebo!

We really enjoy our assembled gazebo. The build took the better part of a full day (spread over two). For sure two people are needed - and 3-4 to put the roof up and secure it. Pay careful attention to steps where squaring and accurate measurements are needed. Guidance on steps that could be taken to help square up things like the four roof sections would be welcome.

Solid well made structure.

Had it all springand summer now, and we love it. I have my smokers under it for a much cooler shady spot to cook. Would buy again!
