Ratings & Reviews for Backyard Discovery Beacon Heights Outdoor Wood Playhouse

He loves it!

Bought this for my grandson. His dad assembled it himself (with a little help) and my grandson loves it. Perfect for 18-36 month olds. Not too large for the backyard. Safe height and features. He loves it.

Perfect for two’s.

Bought this for my two yr old grandson and he loves it. Great quality. It’s safe and compact for the backyard. Dad assembled it himself.

Well built "Pirate Ship"

Our 4 year old loves this and calls it his "Pirate Ship". We added a steering wheel and pirate flag. Very sturdy structure built to last.

Great quality

Our preschool bought this a month ago and the kids have been obsessed with it. Great quality and good for little and bigger kids.

Perfect Size

Got this for my son’s birthday because he loves to slide. It’s the perfect size for him since he just turned 2. It was fairly easy to put together, just takes some time. My only complaint is how easily it chips but it’s wood so what do you expect. Overall I would definitely buy this again if I ever needed to.

Nice structure, features don’t last in elements

Santa brought this for my son who is two years old. We set it up in mid March. My son loves it. My only complaints are that the battery pack for the stove top is definitely not intended to be left out in the rain as ours has stopped working in the past couple weeks and you can see some rust spots. The bell has already fallen apart as well.

Elevated playhouse

Love the product, the playhouse is adorable. Small chip in the wood already, so quality is not as good as the price it is listed for. Also- highly recommend NOT using the service to have someone set it up for you. Not worth the money. The company rescheduled on me 4 times, poor communication. You’d be better finding or hiring someone to build on your own.

A+ Product

Great quality. Easy to understand instructions. Took about 6 hours to fully assemble solo.

Nice addition but a bit small.

Great little addition but its way smaller than we anticipated, even for our two year old. I guess we should have paid closer attention to the measurements in the description. For the price, we were hoping to get quite a few years out of it but he will likely be done with it by the time he's 4 or 5. I assembled it by myself over the course of 3-4 nights. Highly recommend the app to do it, although, there were a few parts towards the end that did not match the booklet (nothing major). Overall, it'...

great product, a bit small

the house is great quality but its a bit small for the price. I am worried about the length of time we'll get out of it before he outgrows it.

Awesome for a young climber

Our now two year old was able to start using this independently at about 20 months old, and I love that the 'second story' is at my eye level where I can help if needed

Great materials!

I bought this playset a couple months ago and it is very sturdy. The materials are great for all weather!

We love our playhouse!!

We got this about 6 months ago and we love it! It's our 2 year old's favorite part of our backyard. I love the ladder and the slide. The door is a great feature, since this age loves to open and close doors. The bell is so fun and a great little imagination addition when playing. I LOVE the ruler on the outside. We have measured every friend that has come over to play on it. The wood is definitely getting wear and tear from being out in the sun so the paint is chipping off. But overall, happy wi...

Your grands will love it!

We wanted something for our nine grandchildren to play with when they are here. Backyard discovery provided just what we were looking for and they love it! It’s perfect for children and is just the perfect addition to our backyard. Thank you Backyard discovery for this playset!!

Playhouse Beacon Heights...

Nice quality playhouse. Instructions needed to be clearer at some clearer directions of screw/bolt placement. It took 2 adults..5 hrs to put together, but only because of the over abundance of the variety of screws and bolts. Really no need for 17 different varieties. Each section of wood requiring a different set, when the max of three sizes could have been used saving the extra time and direction used. Once together, it was perfect and will last for years. Sturdy, stable and good quality pr...

Amazing Playhouse!

We got this playhouse for our little ones and I’m glad we did. The assembly can look a little overwhelming but it’s really not that bad. I built this set myself over a couple of evenings after work and finish in about two days. The family loves it!

Nice playhouse for kids under 5

I bought this for my 3 year old. She’s shorter and it still has a fit inches up to have her go in and out of the door without having to duck. She loves the blender and kitchen accessories. The slide could be a little steeper. The wood paint is cheap and doesn’t last. The wood quality I would say is a 7. Very dry and one wrong screw can break a board. The instructions are on a few boards were missed labeled and I had to look at the pictures to figure it out it what was right. Overall it’s good fo...

Perfect size for our 2 youngest foster grand kids!

We know right where to find the youngest when she is outside!

Best instructions I ever encountered

Purchased this for my great-grandkids, easy to assemble, best instructions very detailed.

Well made and great for a wide variety of ages

The Sweetwater Heights Elevated Playhouse by Backyard Discoveries is everything that we wanted for our kids! Its wide windows with modern black trim look great from the traditional wood look, and they let in ample natural light, creating an inviting atmosphere for imaginative play. Inside, the playset features a sink, stove, and a dinner bell that the kids love to ring when it's time to eat. The side snack window is perfect for serving up drinks and treats, adding to the fun. The half-size hinge...
