Ratings & Reviews for Ariens Compact 24 24-in Two-stage 223-cc Self-propelled Gas Snow Blower

Delivery was Great but Timing was Not.

The only reason why I didn’t rate my experience a 5 is because my snowblower arrive two days later than I was told it would. What Lowes did right: they delivered my item in great shape and rolled to my back yard.

Pick up was awesome

Great experience

Awesome

Everyone was awesome friendly and very helpful

It’s quite a beefier machine with a great price!

It’s actually better than I expected.

Snow blower

I ordered after the big snowstorm we had. I haven’t used it yet but it looks like great quality and well made. Hopefully next winter we won’t get lots of use from it but glad we have it because I’m tired of shoveling.

Powerful well built snowblower

I just bought one last week from Stoller a local dealer who service what they sell We just has a snowstorm dumping 12-13” if heavy snow This unit is a beast It started right up and was easily throwing snow 40’ The city plowed our street and left a 4’ tall pile across end of driveway The Ariens Compact chewed through all of it Great quality Great ergonomics

Huge let down. Run away from this engine.

I bought this one month ago and it’s only worked for first 7 days! With no blower I’ve gotten opportunity to shovel my drive for 4 snow events and prediction of 10” of snow tonight. I had a 15+ year old compact and wanted to trade up to something newer. What a mistake. Bad spark plug, bad coil, every couple days there’s been something new to get done and still not back from dealer. If you can, avoid this engine at all costs. I cannot express how let down I feel about a product and a brand I...

I got the lemon

Everyone should be good buying the Ariens 24 in, because I got the lemon. Works great when it works. Purchased in 2023, after less than 25 hours of use the carburetor failed. Fixed under warranty but still cost me almost $200. Worked fairly well for 5 uses after being fixed. The new carburetor failed last week.

Excellent Snowblower !!

I purchased a compact 24 a few months ago and glad I did. Never had an Ariens before. What a game changer. I live in Maine and we get snow every couple of days in the winter. This snowblower can handle it all easily. And it sips gas, I can go for a couple of hours on a full tank. I've used it a dozen times so far on a gravel driveway and in heavy wet snow. Still throws snow 40 feet. And no broken shear pins. VERY HAPPY !!

The best all around blower

Bought this a couple of years back, the durability and ease of use is second to none. It's saved my back multiple times with the drive and auto turn, and the reverse is great. The controls are intuitive, and it will destroy even the largest drifts with the heaviest able without breaking a sweat. Worth every penny.

Just in time for the winter storm.

Perfect size for handling snow we just got. Easy to manuver. Easy starting.

I like my new snownlower

Just bought this machine a few days ago. Had a fresh 8 inches of sow and it worked well.

3rd snow storm... runs for about 10 minutes dead

It runs for about 10 minutes, backfires, dies, and won't start till it cools. I'll never buy another one!

Buy this product from a professional dealer.

Product is great the assembly from Lowe’s sucks
