Ratings & Reviews for Antennas Direct ClearStream Contour Multi-directional Indoor Digital HDTV VHF UHF TV Antenna

Excellent attic antenna, strong VHF/UHF reception

I installed the ClearStream MAX-V in the attic of my single-story home in the Katy/Houston area, and the results have been excellent. My house already had coaxial wiring left from a previous satellite installation, so I reused the existing RG6 runs and connected the antenna to a passive 4-way splitter in the attic. From there, the signal is distributed to four different rooms. I currently have two TVs connected, with the other two coax outlets ready for future TVs. I specifically wanted an ant...

Works extremely well without using the amplifier. Great reception even in bad weather.

Waste of $$$

I can bearly pick up 9 air channels !!! I m gonna send it back!!I’ve moved it several times on each direction and no better reception!!

Worked for Me

Mounted one of these to my chimney using strap mounts. Reception is now perfect; dramatically better than the attic anntenna I had been struggling with for years.

I Couldn't Be Happier

After researching indoor antennas and cutting the cord, I decided to give the ECLIPSE 2 a try, and it exceeded my expectations. Setup was incredibly simple. I placed it near an east-facing window, ran a channel scan, and immediately started receiving a large number of crystal-clear HD channels. The picture quality is outstanding—every bit as good as cable. Local channels come in reliably with excellent signal strength, and I have experienced very little pixelation or signal loss. The included a...

Superb Indoor Performance and Flexibility

I am extremely pleased with my purchase. I bought the Max-V along with the indoor base stand. I was previously using the Mohu Leaf. Although I was very happy with the Leaf's overall performance, I was unable to consistently receive some desired weaker channels - mainly due to the wall it needed to be mounted on was not facing the direction of these weaker channel broadcast towers. The Max-V is able to consistently receive these channels due to its higher gain and the fact that I can reposit...

Money well spent for crystal clear reception!

This antenna works! I am located only twenty miles from Philadelphia but had frequent issues with signal dropout and pixelation for several local stations including Fox 29 which carries the Eagles games! Antenna finder determined that the broadcast for 29 is from a repeater antenna about 40 miles north of me while most of the other channels are southeast. I purchased two of these antennas over the course of several months and now get perfect reception with them oriented towards the two broadcas...

Eclipse 2 antenna

Easy to install reception excellent except on windy days. Receive approximately 40 channels. Live south of charlotte NC

Works as avertised

Easy to install and works as advertised. I would recommend this antenna to anyone

Simple to use

Quick to install. Good reception from local channels. And most importantly, it blends in with the curtain behind it. Who could ask for more?

Amazing indoor antenna.

When I saw this flexible antenna I thought this can't work. I'm picking up 37 channels hung on the wall beside the TV. I live 20 miles in the country so 5 stars.

Two Up and Running.

Bought 2 Eclipse 2. Both are up and working fine. Got all my local VHF and a few of the important UHF along with a bunch other free ones. Maybe 60 or more altogether,

no good

did not work. only got one channel and it would freeze and go out

oops

didn't work in my apartment that faces south and towers are north

Best indoor antenna for the price.

I tried several antennas before this particular one. And I didn’t encounter any issues.. It was very easy to set up and it picked up almost all of the local channels and some. It’s a great value

Incomplete Without Parts Needed

Since I received my antenna, I still haven’t been able to use it. It did not come with the coax cable to even plug it into my television, or the stand to use on top of my shelf. You can use it if it doesn’t come with the parts needed.

Antenna

This antenna works better than any of the other antennas I tried before this one. I still can't get all the channels that are in my area and don't understand why that is. I don't blame the antenna.

Purchased to replace older version

Purchased this antenna to replace an earlier version. This one does well to pick up the stations but on occasion has to be moved to maintain the channels.

Fantastic!

Solved a problem I had with a weaker, more finicky antenna. Very clear and strong signal!

Needed Upgrade

We moved about 20 miles further away from Phoenix's transmitters on South Mountain than we had been and my old indoor antenna wasn't getting it done (maybe 44 channels at best and going in and out). Was able to install the MAX-V outside, though below the roofline (talk to the HOA) and are now pulling in 118 digital channels, and the troublesome channel 12 is crisp and clear.
