Beautiful light fixture

This lamppost light fixture is beautiful! Very easy to install and much better priced than others of similar style.

Wrong size bolt

The light is very nice. However, the bolt for the cap is 1 inch too long. Now I can't tighten down the top.

Stylish Light

I Replaced a solar light which had little brightness. Now I have plenty of light for my driveway.

Nice looking light

The threaded rod for the top cover was approximately 1" too long. I've got to modify this part in order to tighten down the crown piece. I see from other reviews I am not the only customer to see this issue. Makes one wonder if there is a Quality Control Dept. monitoring production.

Easy install

Inproper screw provided

The screw piece at the top is too long. As many people have reported. So I know that Lowe's is aware of the issue. They apparently don't care because they continue to sell these. I called the 800 number about mine. The suggestion I was given was to cut the extra length off the screw. New flash Lowe's "I am not a machinist". Therefore I don't have the equipment to fix the defect product that you continue to sell

Pitiful service

When electrician came to install on my brick mailbox on my to find the picture in the box was misleading. You had the buy the mounting plate separately . Look at the picture on the box and you will see what I mean. Very misleading. The price was ridiculous for these lights.

Beautiful Outdoor Light and Lamppost

We had to replace our outdoor light post as well as the lantern lamp on top, and we found both at Lowe’s. My husband installed them both himself and they look gorgeous. Thank you Lowe’s for the perfect black lantern lamp to match our home!

Wrong size threaded rod

The light fixture is exactly as described, and is exactly what I wanted; however, the small piece of threaded rod which links the fixture to the lid is TOO LONG. it’s sized wrong and cannot be used -has to be cut shorter with a hacksaw or some other means. Very disappointing.

Adequate, modification needed

Nice lamp. The problem was the threaded rod which to top finale screws into was an inch too long. I needed to remove material from the threaded rod. Access to the bulbs through the top. Once the fixture is secured to the lamp post, no tools are required to change light bulbs (except maybe a ladder). The chamber where the bulbs are has zero airflow. There is a single weep-hole at the bottom for water drainage. The glass and aluminum body must act as heat sinks due to no air circulation...

Nice Fixture

We purchased this item because we found it attractive. We had someone install it outside for us. I noticed that another review mentioned the threaded piece of hardware for the top was too long. I thought surely the manufacturer would have corrected any such issue; however, when we went to finish the job, it was too long for us. We had to use a saw to cut it shorter.

Love this style

Order this lamp to replace my aged and worn out lamp. Happy with the results.

This was a little smaller than i thought it would be but after getting the LED lights in it, it's lovely!
