Worst generator ever! Bought one and it ran one day and broke down. Took to the repair center and they had the generator for 2 months and finally stated they could not repair it. Westinghouse had me ship that one back and sent another. Again, the first time we went to run it it ran for about a half hour and broke down. Unfortunately we were on a camping trip with our 2 dogs so we had to pay for a campground so we could run the air. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS GENERATOR!!!!! LOWES SHOULD BE ASHAMED...

Quiet little generator

Bought this to take with us camping as well as an alternate backup for our house in case of a power outage. The machine is so much quieter than our prior generators, even ones that were CA approved. The machine seems sturdy and well made, and powered up with no problem. This generator worked great with a trailer with 15,000 BTU ac unit, 12VDC system, lights and receptacles. I read one review mentioning difficulty with the 15,0000 BTU AC, so I bought a soft starter kit gor the ac unit. No issues running the AC with the soft starter. This generator is decent with noise.

Westinghouse generators are the best. Dont get a cheap one you will regret it.

Would recommend

This seems to be an excellent portable generator so far. I love the retractable handle for moving it around, and the flexibility of duel fuel. The only minor flaws that I noticed was that the oil fill/dipstick is in a tight spot and somewhat difficult to access, as is the battery quick connect. Other than that, I can see this unit saving me plenty of headaches during the next inevitable power outage.

Easy start up and break in!

Started on the first press of a button - easy break in period -- changed the oil and swapped to synthetic. Quiet and powers everything I need.
