Plastic grip on handle weak at rivet
Would Not RecommendI received a set as a reward from MC through our bank. The handle on the 7" Ginsu(?) broke at the 3rd Rivet from the end. Is this material either polyethelene or polypropylene? I intend on gluing it back together.

Good set, small issue
Would RecommendGot this set for a Christmas gift, so far it’s been great! One drawback was that the tip of one of the steak knives was curled over and got stuck in the cover when removing it from the packaging. Fortunately I was able to get it back to mostly normal with a good amount of honing.

Would RecommendFantastic knives, which is what I've come to expect from Henckels. Razor sharp, makes very smooth cuts, and looks great on my countertop. I don't know the exact difference in the "professional" version, but this 18-piece set should be plenty for the average cook--a piece for every occasion!

Some are obvious - bread knife, paring knife - while others - utility knife, prep knife, hollow edge santoku - are encouraging me to try knives I would not have reached for. Broken steak knife handles.
Would RecommendI was married 30 years ago and was given a knife set that held up through all the years. My son decided to gift us with the 18-pc knife set for Christmas. The steak knife handles (2 of them) have completely broken off wear the blade meets the metal. The knives have only been hand washed and continue to fall apart with use. The knives are LESS THAN A YEAR OLD. I wish I could post pictures as well. In addition, I have noticed the kitchen scissors do not cut as well as they should. Big dissapointm...
