Borderline worthless

Battery lasts maybe a week with only sporadic use in a pantry. Comes on randomly with door closed and no air flow that would trigger the sensor. Spend more time charging it than using it.

Works well but needs frequent Recharging

The light performs well and I like the cordless & no batteries feature. However, I would not recommend this light for high-traffic areas. We placed it under the cabinet over the kitchen sink. While I like the touch-free function (wet hands at the sink), just walking by the area turns it on so within 24-36hrs it needs to be re-charged. Charge does not last long enough.

A full charge takes about 3-4 hrs and if it is in a room that you use often, such as a kitchen, the charge does not last but a day, if that long.

Let there be light!

This was the perfect solution for our closet that didn't have electricity going to it. It turns on instantly with motion and is very bright. I am going to get more for other closets and dark areas.

Worth getting

Works well! Lights up a medium area.

Not reliable.

I use this in my kitchen. Sometimes, it turned on when there was no movement, making it necessary to recharge more frequently. The light turned off even while I was working on the counter directly below the sensor. After several months, the light stays on continuously.

Bad lights in stock at the store

The last two of these lights would not hold a charge so I returned them to the local store. I had previously purchased 4 of these without any problems. Guess the local store has some bad lights in inventory. Otherwise I would recommend these lights.

Nice and bright

Great bright light. However it has a mind of its own—comes on for no reason!

rechargeable under cabinet lights

The under cabinet lights work perfectly. Installation was a breeze. No wiring needed was a major plus for us. We purchased 4 so far. One is more sensitive than the others, but we have it in a location where we do not use motion detection.

Auto setting is unreliable

The light itself is really great for the closet i installed it in. The problem is that the light keeps turning on in the closet while the door is closed and it wakes me up. If the sensor was better, it would be the ideal light for any space without electricity

Constantly turning on

Without a sensitivity adjustment available this light turns on all day behind a closed door and drains the battery by night time.

Not for a high traffic area

I purchased this item (Good Earth Rechargeable Lighting with motion sensor 12-in.) at my local Lowe's store, not online. So, I may may not show as a "verified purchaser" but I assure you I did buy one of these. The motion sensor is great, the light consistently turns on quickly. Undermount rechargeable light

I happened upon this rechargeable undermount light in Lowe's and I love it! I love the fact that it is motion detected! I have it in my laundry room under a cabinet as I enter the room. So convenient.

Good for closets

I have used these for a few years in closets and love them. Only 1 light mysteriously turns on which may prematurely wear down the battery.
