How soon after application can it be sanded?


It is recommended to allow the primer to dry for up to 1 hour before sanding.

Hi Charlie, thank you for reaching out! Our Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 Primer dries to the touch in 35 minutes, although it is a good idea to allow the primer to dry for at least an hour before sanding. The primer should sand easily to a powder, if the primer begins to gum up the sandpaper, we recommend allowing the surface to dry longer before resuming sanding. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 2
