Is there a stabilzer that will keep this from leaning agains gutters?


Yes, Werner does have a "Universal Stabilizer" product for this ladder. I believe you can special order it from Lowes - part number "AC96".

To use this ladder leaning against your house without damaging the gutter you would need to use a ladder stand off. The only that will work with the MT series ladder is the AC96 aluminum stabilizer. This stabilizer has a standoff distance of 10 inches from the house.
