Use the "Universal Stabilizer", model # AC96, possibly special order through Lowes.

That depends on your eave protrusion & height, if your eave is 2-feet or more & under 10' up, then the Step config is perfect. If you're talking Flat config only, then you need to either under-shoot the eave or only rest the ladder on or very-about the gutter pins. Otherwise, in a Flat position you'll need a Stand-Off U-Shaped arm, which I didn't purchase separately from Werner. But, you can easily & cheaply make your own custom Stand-Off with just 2x4 scraps or doubled up, screwed & glued plywood & U-Bolts (preferably car exhaust system U-bolts). If you make your own, use old non-marring sneakers soles (glued-on &/or screwed-on anywhere, but the contact ends) for lateral grip (astroturf, foam rubber & carpet-padding don't hold up well) & Don't Use Carpet or Towels (they slide way too easily, even on the roof side).

Was this Answer Helpful ?you would have to purchase the optional standouts and position this to avoid contact with the gutter
