Is this good for cleaning hardwood floors as well?


The 915 Steamer can be used on flooring and carpeting, windows and tiles, uphostery and fabrics as well as other general uses like removing wall paper or other small cleaning jobs. You do not want to use this on anything that can be damaged by heat or water. I would not recommend using it on hardwood floors as steam may cause the floor boards to swell.
