This is a 30 amp dryer cord. A range cord must be rated at 40 or 50 amps. Lowes stocks 3-wire range cords for those with existing 3-wire circuits and 4-wire range cords for newer 4-wire range circuits installed since 1996. Consult the associate in the electrical department of your local Lowes store.
