is the base of this sub pump 8"? The hole is 9"


The manufacturer's installation instructions recommend a minimum sump pit diameter of 14 inches to allow clearance for the on/off float to operate properly.

Thanks for your question, This pump requires a sump basin that measures 18in by 24in. it will not work in a 9in sump basin. If you have any further questions please call our technical support team at 800-346-7611
