For pre-1996 3-wire range circuits use the 3-wire range receptacle. Pre-1996 3-wire range circuits are normally grandfathered and only need to be upgraded to 4-wires when the circuit needs to be extended or replaced. Check with your local AHJ for details. The alternative would be to install a new 4-wire circuit using either 8-3 or 6-3 NM-B cable.
