Where do I get a replacement chain?

You can NOT buy a replacement chain at Lowes. They do not sell 8" replacement chains that will work with this model. These chains are difficult to find, unless ordered directly from MTD at a premium price.

You can buy the chain at your local Lowe's. It will be with the other chainsaw chains. This takes an 8 inch chain. Be sure to follow the instructions for breaking a new chain inthat came with this attachment.
