I have a 36 year old Country Stove.Do I need an adapter to connect the metric lock from the pipe to the stove?

Are you looking to connect the Class A insulated chimney directly to the outlet collar of the stove? Most stove manufacturers want you to have at least one length of stove pipe. The transition between the stove pipe and chimney is done with the Stove Pipe Adapter (JSC6ASE). The chimney itself doesn't have enough of a lip to get a safe & proper connection. This would be the way to make the transition between an outlet collar and the chimney as well - but only if you know for certain that the stove manufacturer approves that type of an installation. Note though, that the chimney would need to be supported from above so the adapter & stove are not bearing the weight of all the chimney on top of it.
