Is this safe to use for countertop application?


Yes. But I've had tile countertops and do not prefer them. Food and crumbs want to get into the grooves of the grout therefore is a pain to keep clean. Plus, if something heavy drops on the countertop the tiles can break and replacing them is a pain. Also, dropped glass is almost assuredly going to break. I just put in Lowes most expensive laminate countertop reminiscent of granite. Continuous smooth surface Very durable, cost effective and I could do it myself. Gorgeous.

I bought these tiles and put them in the 1/2 bath. While they are porcelain, they did scratch and the dark color does not go all the way through. You are much better off putting in a solid Quartz top, or even use Granite tiles as I hear they are a good inexpensive alternative to a single large install.
