will the joint show when butting edge to edge


The joint would be where the bead comes together. You need to leave a 1/16-inch gap between boards for expansion. you can fill the 1/16-inch gap with a good siliconized latex caulk to hide the gap. Installation instructions: https://decpanels.com/resources/installation-guides
