I have a SQ D breaker box. The breakers say SQ D - they do not say QO or Homeline on them. Can I use the SQ D QO breakers in this SQ D box?


Check the label inside the panel box or panel door for the catalog number of the panel. If it starts with "HOM", use Homeline series breakers. If it starts with "QO", use QO series breakers. Another way to tell the difference is the width of the breakers. Homeline breakers are a full 1" wide and QO breakers are only 3/4" wide. Homeline and QO breakers are not interchangeable.

Hello Lou, QO breakers are approved and tested for QO load centers only. You will need to check on your cover that should have a part number that begins with QOC.
