The 14945 I purchased is not as pictured. Mine has cast-in duplex “adapters”. How do I remove one so I can use one of the separate GFCI adapters?


This 2-Gang Multi-Use Cover (Item #238132 | Model #14945) comes with the Duplex adapter plates pre-installed. To remove the duplex adapter plates, push the center of the duplex adapter plate from the backside of the cover towards the front. It will snap out of place. To install the GFCI or Single Round adapter plates, align the plates with the top and bottom screw holes and the "BACK" marking on the adapter plate facing the back of the cover. Please note that the "BACK" marking may be upside down to align with the holes correctly. Push until the plate snaps into place.
