IS the control panel backlit?


NO, Pamela, and for me it’s a real dealbreaker. I recently got a KitchenAid drawer microwave - they are all manufactured by Sharp since they hold all the patents - and temporarily mounted it under my counter to see if I would like it there and then decide whether or not to include it in our upcoming kitchen remodel. The answer is NO WAY. Since the control panel buttons are not backlit and are labeled with very small print I had to bend down or kneel down to program it. I certainly could not read the print from a standing position. If they’ll take it back I’ll bring it back. If not, it will spend the rest of its days in the shed.
