Can this tile be used as a countertop in my laundry room?

Porcelain tile is strong enough to be used for this purpose, however, there are some things to consider. Polished surfaces can be scratched by sliding objects over it's surface, which is more likely to happen as a counter top. Also, you will still need to leave a grout joint, as the tiles cannot be Butt jointed, and over time the grout can become dirty and stain.
