Will this work on vinyl trim flares on my Jeep?

Rust-Oleum Automotive Professional Undercoating Spray for use on bare or primed metal, including underbody and wheel wells of cars, trucks, trailers, and other recreational vehicles. We don't recommend applying it to vinyl surfaces because the paint will not adhere properly and will peel off.
