does it trap anything besides flies? need something for mosquitos

It traps mainly flies but mine have had small white moths in them too. Occasionally a wasp will enter. Butterflies are attracted to the smell but they can't get-in. You can make a great mosquito trap out of a plastic 2-litre drink bottle. Google it.

I'm not sure, I don't think so , bc I still get bit. But if you have flies you don't want any other product, I've tried them, Rescue is the only one!

I only see flies inside the trap. So it only attracts flies.

Any bug that is attracted and gets inside is a history. But the design is for flies and constructed to keep them in once they enter. Flies are most attracted to this trap than any other insect. I have seen a butterfly hang out there too but was too big to get in.

I saw a hornet, and a disgusting cockroach in the trap, so yes, it attracts all the creepy crawlies and flying pests.
