When installing this on concrete slab do you need vapor barrier? Underlayment? Will warranty be void if vapor barrier is not used?


Thank you for your inquiry and your interest in Studio Concord Maple flooring. A vapor barrier is necessary when installing over a concrete subfloor. Please see Quick Step Studio Laminate Flooring Installation Instructions at pdf.lowes.com/installationguides/604743165981_install.pdf specifically all the instructions regarding installation on top of concrete. Note it states on Page 2 (F), " For concrete subfloors, install vapor barrier with overlapped seams of 8" or more."
