Does this product require a separate vapor barrier to install on concrete?


Hello! - Yes, a separate vapor barrier is required prior to installing the QuickStep Studio laminate flooring over concrete. You can use a 6 mil (0.15 mm) virgin polyethelene vapor barrier. Or, it is also acceptable to use Pergo Gold™ underlayment (Lowes Part # 670312) as it has a built in moisture barrier. A separate vapor barrier should not be used in conjunction with Pergo Gold.
