Should I avoid installation in a kitchen?

Don't believe the 30 minute window for cleaning spills. That is bunk. The second a seam gets moisture it curls/warps.
Was this Answer Helpful ?We made the mistake to install it in the kitchen if the water stays for 5 minutes it will bubble up and will curl the edges if you mop to clean the floor. We so regretted to have bought that floor. It looks nice but is a cheap quality. We will replace with tile, waste of money.
Was this Answer Helpful ?Thank you for your inquiry. Studio laminate is scratch and stain resistant but not scratchproof or waterproof. Spills must be cleaned up within 30 minutes to avoid damage. It can be used in kitchens and bathrooms but again water must be cleaned up within 30 minutes to avoid damage to the flooring. Also when installing in the kitchen, silicone has to be used in the expansion space. Installation instructions must be followed carefully.
