can I put a coat of polyurethane for extra protection


The answer given by Helen @ QuickStep Studio Customer Service on 05/01/2020 did not answer the question. The question asked should have been more complete. It should have ask "If I put a coat of polyurethane for extra protection will it adhere to the coating that QuickStep uses". Helen's response was very robotic, typical of someone who doesn't understand how things are made, what they are made of or why it should not need 'extra protection'. The response was not given much thought, typical of a corporate type personality. I think that no one or not many people make a warranty claim based on the issue of a new coating or any type.
