Can a gun safe (approximately 750 pounds) be moved using an appliance dolly across the floor without damage?


I moved a side by side refrigerator across this floor by sliding it. But to ensure I did not damage the floor, I used 1/4" plywood as padding and then cardboard on top of that to ease in sliding. If you have a dolly, all that pressure will localized over the two wheels and could possible damage the "distressed" feature of the planks. Anything you can lay over the floor first would be advisable. Good luck.
