Locking method used

Well, I'll answer my own question: I managed to find some of this type of Click-Lock flooring at my local Lowes. It uses a "drop and lock" style of connection. Meaning the ends of each plank are "dropped" into place; not tapped; not "folded" into place. Just hook a new plank along its long side into the previous row; line up the end of the new plank with the most recently placed plank by sliding the plank along the long side (while holding at an angle); drop into place locking the long side. The end joints are just "hooked" into each and aren't completely locked into place until you place the next row.

Its a lock and tap system. If you go to the store you should be able to look at and/or take home a sample. You can see how it works by the grooves in the flooring. Not to mention there's always YouTube!! :)

The best and easiest way to install all types of laminate is to do one whole row at the same time. If you need to get another person to help, I would highly suggest you do so. Using this method, very seldom do you need to tap the product into place. Slip the tongue into the groove for direction. Once the row has been put in place, at a slight angle, then press down for the lock to occur. A slap of your palm usually is enough to get er done. Then repeat.
