dimensions of toilet base that sits on floor

I was irritated that this information is not included in the specification of each toilet. So, from my hand measurements, the footprint of the toilet (the part that sits on the floor) has dimensions of: 10" wide at the bolt holes 11-1/8" wide at the widest part (forward of the bolt holes) 19-1/8" long (front to rear). These are outside dimensions, in other words, the dimensions if you traced around the base on the floor. Note that this replaced a toilet that was 19" long front to rear, but it turns out that the bolt holes were located about 1.5" closer to the front on this new toilet, moving the toilet rearward by that amount on the floor, so beware of that. I don't have a good dimension from the bolt holes to the front or rear. I recommend check-fitting the toilet by sitting it in place on the t-bolts without the wax ring to check the installation before you go in for the actual install with the wax ring.
