Can I put a higher watt bulb than 60 in this

If 60 watts is what is recommended, you're safer not going over this amount. Using a higher than recommended bulb runs the risk of 1) your glass globes will statter because they cant take the excess heat of a higher wattage bulb and 2) you run the risk of possibly starting a fire. My suggestion is if you want brighter lite, change the regular incandescent bulbs out for the proper wattage LED bulbs, and you could also consider changing your glass globes to the white frosted or even a clear globe. But never go over the recommended wattage! Best wishes!
