My lamp is 50-100-150 3way. It currently doesn't work properly. I want to replace the socket. Would I be able to use this for the 50-100-150 watts?

Socket is stamped that it is rated for up to 250W and 250V, which works out to 1A. Does that mean it can handle 150W at 120V? Thats 1.25A. Probably, 1.25A isnt much really. Now, your overall lamp design may not handle 150W, but if thats what the old switch says, you should be OK.

" Lippie32 on 12/10/2019 I see 2 people say yes this would work for there needs , people asked what was the max size bulb they could use ,response was 60 watt , 3-way switch goes up to 150 watt how can that work out good in this situation, just asking..." Lippie32, modern bulbs use less watts than an incandescent. For example, a GE 62070 CFL 3 way bulb is a 50/100/150 watt equivalent, that uses 16/25/32 watts. LED bulbs are even better. A GE Refresh-Watt 50/100/150 equivalent uses 5/10/19 watts.
