What gauge is the cord?


Most extension cords, or power strips, are 16 gause unless otherwise specified. This is enough to carry about 12 - 13 Amps. There is a significant price differential for 14 gauge extension cords and strips.

I can't tell from the pictures and I didn't get the SKU#. Regardless the Electrical Code requires that the gauge information be imprinted on the cord. It can be quite hard to see due to white on white.
