What is the capacity?

I have the similar hooks from another brand and capacity is rated at 50 lbs. My Little Giant weighs 35 lbs (get your ladder model number and go to the manufacture's website to check) - so far so good. On a side note, make sure you have a couple of studs close enough together to screw these into. I had to screw them in close to a window so part of the ladder hangs "in the window". Not a big deal to me but it may matter to someone else. Also, be sure to buy 2 of these to hang a ladder. Couldn't find directions to install this product, so here is what I did: 1. Use a stud finder and find two studs close enough together to hang your ladder. 2. Eye level is a good height (unless you're clumsy - "You could put an eye out with those things"). Make mark in the middle of the stud location and make your second mark level in the middle of the second stud. 2. Take a 3/8 wood bit and drill your pilot holes. 3. Screw them in. Takes some strength but once you get them in all the way they're solid. Hope this guide helps!
