are these strong enough to hold hedge trimmers & rakes & shovels, etc.

I'd hang shovels, rakes, brooms, etc. on it all day long, but when it comes to an expensive power tool, I'd maybe look for a better quality peg wall hanger — or perhaps use two and hang the tool horizontally along the peg wall.

I use these to hang up weed eaters, hoses, leaf blower, etc. No problem so far.
